The new-generation 4-Channel DJ system with Haptic Drive jog wheels, the TRAKTOR Control S4, offers a remarkable user experience. The large motorized jog wheels with haptic feedback come in three distinct modes, providing a versatile and intuitive control over the music.

In Turntable mode, the motorized jog wheels spin according to the track tempo, creating a natural backspin feel. The touch-sensitive top plates allow for slip mat action, while the powerful torque gives the user a turntable platter feel on the rims, enabling precise nudging of the deck. The start/stop times and torque are adjustable, allowing for personalized performance.

The Jog mode offers the traditional spin-to-nudge jog wheel behavior, with the ability to speed up or slow down the deck. The jog wheel resistance and start/stop times are also adjustable, giving the user full control over their performance.

The Beat Grid mode allows users to manually adjust the beat grid in TRAKTOR using the jog wheel, providing precise control over the track's timing.

The haptic feedback in all three modes provides a tactile response, with a 'click' sensation felt when scrolling through cue points and loops. This enhances the user's connection with the music and improves the overall DJ experience.

Surrounding each jog wheel is an RGB LED ring that visualizes the deck rotation in jog and turntable modes, as well as the track tempo and deck selection (A and B in blue, C and D in orange).

The TRAKTOR Control S4 also features high-resolution color displays that show essential information such as track ID, key, and tempo, along with transport data, waveform strip with track position, phase meter, loop length and state, and Remix and Stem decks control.

The new Mixer FX section offers instant one-knob effects and filters on each channel, providing users with a wide range of creative options. They can choose from 8 FX and 3 filter types, in addition to the TRAKTOR deck effects.

The Pro Mixer Layout includes long-life Carbon Protect faders, a dedicated cue section on the top plate, and an adjustable crossfader curve. Additionally, the 16 RGB pads can be used to trigger Hot cues, loops, or samples, further expanding the performance capabilities of the TRAKTOR Control S4.
